Week 10 Blog

1, 2 and 3: I didn't take any photos during this term because I didn't know how to use the camera. My fault I wasn't ready for this class. Maybe I'll retry this class in the future when I'm ready but for now I'm going to try other things and see how I do there. Thank you for allowing me to be in this class so I could learn the little that I did learn, and hopefully next time I'll be ready to overcome the challenges of this class and actually take a photo.
4. I still don't have any photo skills but I do have some knowledge now on how the world of photojournalism works and operates. Hopefully this knowledge will help me in the future if I retake this class.
I don't remember what my three goals were or if I even had any in the first place but I'll tell you what my three goals are for the future if I retake this class. Goal one is to take very good pictures. Since I didn't take any photos this term I think a perfect goal to set is to actually take photos. Goal two is to work better with the schedule of this class. That was also a major thing that set me back in this class. Since I didn't have my own vehicle and had to take the bus it really set me back, so I just need to get a car so I can drive myself. Goal three is to get over my anxiety. I don't enjoy being around people especially strangers, so that is also a major setback because a good photojournalist isn't scared around strangers. If I retake this class it'll be my most important goal to overcome my anxiety and talk to strangers who I normally wouldn't talk to.

Overall I thank you for this experience in your class even if it didn't go the way I wanted it to. Thank you for not kicking me out of the class because ultimately I did learn things about the photojournalism world that I didn't know before. I hope I retake this class in the future so I can have a re do and do things right.

Topic 1: Well I am currently scheduled to transfer eventually when it looks like none of the classes here will help me with my goal. My goal of course is to complete all the classes I need so that I'm qualified to have a job in a wrestling promotion as either an announcer, commentator, referee, or cameraman. I took this class because I figured it would be good to have some camera experience if I do end up becoming a cameraman. Sadly I have no photography experience and that really sucks because it feels like I'm the only one in the class who has no idea what they are doing.

Topic 2: My first goal is to actually get pictures so that I can actually become somewhat decent at taking photos. My second goal is to come out of my shell a little and be more social because being social is extremely important as a photographer. My third and final goal is to understand the photography world a little better because there's a lot of things people don't know or understand about it.

Topic 3: Well I failed this assignment because I didn't get the photos and it really sucks because I really do want to do good in this class but yet things just keep getting in my way.
